About the role In the role of Mixing Department Head, you will control and oversee operations in the mixing and weighing of raw materials in accordance with production plans and standards set for each product. Key responsibilities Inspect, collect, and store production documents, and prepare reports for presentation to managers and relevant departments Develop and maintain current standard operating procedure manuals Conduct employee training in the department Coordinate with Production Coordinator to manage raw material requisitions and product modifications Coordinate with engineering department for equipment calibration Participate in risk assessment of products, tools, machinery, and production processes Collaborate with research and innovation, technical, and quality assurance departments to conduct validation when there are new products, formula changes, machinery changes, or production process changes Work shift schedules as appropriate to the nature of the work About you Able to work in shifts as appropriate to the nature of the work
