Responsibilities: Trade Execution: Execute trades precisely in line with PM instructions, investment mandates, and best execution policies; monitor order flow, spreads, volatility, and liquidity in real time. Market Intelligence: Proactively provide execution feedback, trading ideas, and market color to PMs to support informed decision-making. End-to-End Trade Support: Oversee the full trade lifecycle—from pre-trade checks and trade booking to confirmations, allocations, and settlement coordination with brokers, custodians, and operations teams. Risk & Compliance: Ensure all trades comply with regulatory requirements, internal policies, client mandates, and investment limits. Issue Resolution: Take ownership of trade breaks, failed settlements, corporate actions, and other exceptions, driving timely resolutions. Process Improvement: Contribute to workflow automation, analytics enhancements, and reporting efficiencies to continuously upgrade our trading infrastructure. Stakeholder Collaboration: Build and maintain strong relationships with brokers, counterparties, and internal functions, including Operations, Compliance, and Risk. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or above in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Business, or a related field. 3–8 years of relevant experience in trade execution, investment operations, or front-office trading (buy-side experience strongly preferred). Proven experience trading equities across Hong Kong, US, China, Japan, Taiwan, and Korea markets is highly desirable. Solid understanding of market microstructure, order types, execution algorithms, and the full trade lifecycle. Familiarity with fixed income and/or equity derivatives is a distinct advantage. Knowledge of Hong Kong market practices and exchange processes is a plus. Tech-savvy with proficiency in Bloomberg, Excel, and standard trading/portfolio management systems. Fluent in English and Chinese (Mandarin and/or Cantonese are strong assets). Strong communication, multitasking, and problem-solving skills with a collaborative mindset.
