About the role Kick-start your career in banking and financial services with hands-on exposure to real customer needs, financial products and business operations. This internship is suitable for students who are interested in banking, finance, insurance, wealth planning or financial services and want to gain practical experience beyond the classroom. Key responsibilities Assist in organising and maintaining customer information, financial needs analysis and relevant documentation Conduct basic research on banking products, insurance solutions, financial products and market trends Assist with product and financial solution comparisons based on different customer needs Support the preparation of customer appointments, consultation materials and follow-up activities Prepare product comparison sheets, customer briefs, reports and presentation materials Update customer records and internal business information accurately Assist the team with customer service and day-to-day business operations Work closely with team members to ensure tasks and service processes are completed accurately and on time Maintain professionalism and comply with confidentiality, customer privacy and compliance requirements About you Currently pursuing or recently completed a Diploma or Degree in Banking, Finance, Economics, Business, Accounting or a related field Strong interest in banking, financial services, insurance, investment or personal financial planning Basic understanding of financial concepts with a strong willingness to learn Good communication skills in Mandarin and English Mandarin is required as the role involves communication with Mandarin-speaking customers Detail-oriented and able to handle information and documents accurately Responsible, organised and willing to take initiative Customer-focused with a professional and positive communication style Familiarity with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word or Google Workspace is an advantage Able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
