We’re partnering exclusively with a well-established international organization undergoing significant technology modernization. They are looking for an IT Technical Manager to lead application modernization and intelligent automation initiatives while remaining close to the technology. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to combine technical leadership, development, automation and emerging AI technologies . What You’ll Do Lead the design, development and modernization of enterprise applications using C# .NET, Web API and SQL . Transform legacy applications into modern, secure and scalable web-based solutions . Lead workflow and business-process automation using K2, Power Automate, UiPath or similar technologies. Work directly with business users to identify processes that can be digitized, automated or improved . Explore practical applications of Generative AI, OCR, chatbots, intelligent validation and AI-assisted automation . Take ownership of technical challenges, including system analysis, troubleshooting and root-cause resolution . Lead application releases, testing, deployment and post-production support. Provide hands-on technical guidance, architecture input and code reviews . Mentor developers and strengthen engineering standards and best practices. Help shape the organization's roadmap for application modernization, automation and AI adoption . What We’re Looking For 5–8+ years in software/application development, automation or enterprise technology. Strong hands-on experience with C#/.NET, Web API and SQL . Experience with K2 SmartForms/K2 Workflow, Power Automate, UiPath or comparable workflow/RPA platforms . Proven experience modernizing legacy enterprise applications . Good understanding of APIs, system integration and secure application development. Exposure to Generative AI, Microsoft Copilot, OCR, chatbots or intelligent automation is highly desirable. Experience taking technology solutions from business requirement through development and production deployment . Strong troubleshooting and production support capabilities. Ability to lead and mentor technical teams while remaining hands-on . Strong stakeholder communication and project delivery skills. Experience within complex manufacturing or engineering environments would be advantageous. Why Consider This Opportunity? This isn't a role where you'll simply maintain existing applications.
