Assistant Production Manager (Mixing)

About the role In the role of Assistant Production Manager (Mixing), you will control and oversee operations in the mixing and raw material weighing section, ensuring compliance with production plans and product standards. You will be responsible for reviewing, compiling, and storing production documents, and preparing reports for presentation to managers and relevant departments. You will develop and maintain current standard operating procedure manuals and conduct employee training within the department. You will coordinate with the Production Coordinator to manage raw material requisitions and product modifications, and with the engineering department for equipment calibration. You will participate in risk assessments of products, tools, machinery, and production processes, and collaborate with research and innovation, technical, and quality assurance departments in conducting validation when new products are introduced or when formulas, machinery, or processes change. You must be able to work shifts as appropriate to the nature of the work. Key responsibilities Control and plan production in the mixing department to meet defined targets in terms of time, quantity, quality, and cost control Supervise employees to comply with requirements such as GMP, TGA, ISO, Halal, Thai Pharmacopoeia, environmental standards, and safety Continuously improve work efficiency Train and develop subordinates Prepare and maintain current standard operating procedure documentation Assess and manage risks related to products, tools, machinery, and processes Collaborate with research and innovation, and technical and quality assurance departments to conduct validation for new products or when products undergo formula, machinery, or process changes Work with other departments to resolve issues and make decisions About you Bachelor's degree or higher 5 years or more of experience in industrial manufacturing production Computer knowledge Knowledge of human resource management Knowledge of machinery and equipment Knowledge of GMP/ISO Leadership qualities Strong interpersonal skills
