Senior Enterprise Cloud Architect - J13105

About the Role We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Cloud Architect to drive the strategic design, deployment, and optimization of enterprise cloud infrastructure within a highly regulated financial ecosystem. In this role, you will take ownership of the overarching cloud technical roadmap, producing advanced High-Level Designs (HLD) and Low-Level Designs (LLD), driving Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) maturity, and ensuring that all cloud solutions strictly adhere to the highest standards of financial regulatory compliance and critical infrastructure security. Key Responsibilities: Enterprise Architecture & Solution Design: Lead the evaluation, design, and integration of emerging cloud-native solutions. Develop comprehensive High-Level Designs (HLD) and architect secure, scalable cloud ecosystems that seamlessly integrate with existing enterprise infrastructure. Project Engineering & Financial Governance: Partner with project teams, vendors, and business stakeholders to formulate technical project plans. Take full accountability for generating accurate Bills of Materials (BOM) to support project budgeting and strategic procurement. Deployment Oversight & Implementation: Oversee the end-to-end technical deployment and transition-to-production of cloud solutions. Ensure all technical setups and Low-Level Designs (LLD) align strictly with overarching architectural principles. Regulatory Compliance & Security : Enforce uncompromising security postures and IT governance frameworks. Ensure all cloud architectures comply with stringent industry regulations, including ISO27001, CSTAR, C-RAF, and the Protection of Critical Infrastructures Ordinance. Continuous Optimization & Roadmapping: Conduct rigorous reviews of existing cloud platform architectures to identify performance bottlenecks and security enhancements. Act as the ultimate Subject Matter Expert (SME), defining the long-term Cloud Platform roadmap for the enterprise. Qualifications & Experience: Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline. Experience: A minimum of 10 years of robust experience in IT infrastructure and architecture, with a strong preference for candidates from tier-1 financial institutions or highly regulated environments. (Note: Candidates with slightly less experience may be considered for mid-level architectural capacities). Core Technical Stack: Deep, hands-on expertise in Cloud-Native Solutions, Containerization (Kubernetes), Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible), Cloud Management Platforms, and Linux/Unix systems. DevSecOps & CI/CD: Proven experience utilizing modern engineering toolchains, including GitHub Enterprise, GitHub Actions, Sonatype, ArgoCD, and HashiCorp Vault. Programming & Scripting : Strong proficiency in Python, Golang, and advanced Shell scripting. IT Governance: Solid familiarity with ITSM processes and strict IT compliance standards relevant to the financial services industry. Soft Skills : A pragmatic, self-starting analytical thinker with exceptional documentation, presentation, and stakeholder management skills. Fluency in English and Cantonese is mandatory; Mandarin proficiency is a strong advantage.
