Senior Finance Executive

About the role We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Senior Finance Executive to join our finance team. The ideal candidate is an accounting graduate with 3-5 years of hands-on experience who thrives in a fast-paced environment. Candidates with full set of accounts experience will have a distinct advantage and will be given priority consideration. Key responsibilities Manage and process accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) transactions with accuracy and timeliness Perform daily bookkeeping entries and ensure all financial transactions are properly recorded in the accounting system Prepare and process payment vouchers, invoices, credit notes, and other financial documents Handle supplier payments, customer collections, and maintain aging reports for both AP and AR Prepare and maintain comprehensive accounting records including general ledger, trial balance, and financial statements Execute month-end and year-end closing procedures, ensuring all accounts are properly reconciled Perform bank reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies promptly Assist in preparation of monthly management reports including profit & loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements Ensure all accounting activities comply with applicable accounting standards and statutory requirements Liaise with external auditors during annual audit exercises and prepare necessary audit schedules About you Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and Finance, or related field (mandatory requirement) Minimum 3-5 years of relevant accounting and finance experience Experience handling full set of accounts is a strong advantage Proficient in accounting software (SQL Accounting) Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including VLOOKUP and pivot tables Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards Knowledge of local tax regulations and compliance requirements Exceptional attention to detail and high level of accuracy Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Excellent time management skills with ability to meet strict deadlines Benefits Competitive salary package commensurate with experience and qualifications Comprehensive benefits including medical coverage and annual leave entitlements Structured career development and professional growth opportunities Supportive work environment with exposure to diverse accounting functions
