Lead and manage design teams for civil and infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance with project specifications and timelines. Collaborate with architects, engineers, and stakeholders to develop and review design proposals. Assess and validate design documents, ensuring accuracy and adherence to regulations and standards. Monitor design-related costs and ensure efficient resource allocation within project budgets. Implement quality control measures to maintain high standards in design outputs. Address design-related challenges and provide innovative solutions to optimize project delivery. Liaise with clients, contractors, and regulatory bodies to facilitate effective communication and project alignment. Ensure that all designs comply with local regulations, safety standards, and best practices. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field. 10 years of relevant experience in design management, specifically in civil or infrastructure projects. Professional membership (e.g., HKIE) is highly desirable. Strong leadership and team management abilities. Proficiency in design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D). Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
