Key responsibilities Design, develop, test, and deploy front-end and full-stack web applications using modern frameworks (React/Vue, TypeScript, JavaScript) Implement and maintain RESTful APIs and integrate with back-end services built in Java (Spring Boot), Struts, .NET, and Node.js Perform BAU enhancements, bug fixes, and performance tuning for existing insurance applications Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and translate user requirements into technical specifications Prepare system design documents, test plans, test cases, and technical documentation in line with SDLC standards Conduct code reviews, unit testing, and support UAT with QA and business users Work closely with cross-functional teams (BA, QA, DevOps, Infrastructure) to ensure smooth delivery and system stability Provide production support, troubleshoot issues, and implement preventive measures Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, including adoption of best practices in front-end architecture and security About you 3–5 years of hands-on experience in web application development, with a strong focus on front-end technologies Proficiency in front-end: React or Vue.js, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, Ajax Proficiency in back-end: Java (Spring Boot), Struts, .NET, Node.js Experience with RESTful API design and integration Experience with MSSQL (T-SQL, stored procedures, performance tuning) Experience in full SDLC, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and deployment Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills Insurance or financial services domain knowledge (nice-to-have) Exposure to CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) (nice-to-have) Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies (nice-to-have)
