Internship - Data Analytics

About the Role We are looking for a motivated and driven Data Analytics Intern to join our team at Sembonia , one of the top rapidly growing brands of leather-wear with all extensive range of products that includes shoes, bags and other leather accessories. This full-time internship, based in Cheras, Kuala Lumpur , offers hands-on exposure to various aspects of data analysis. Job Responsibilities: Perform analysis to identify performance trends and insights Conduct root cause investigations to identify root cause for performance gap, rooms for improvement, underlying business risk or bottlenecks that business team are/will be facing Work together with various stakeholders to develop solutions/ improvement plans for process and/or performance related issues Work together with various stakeholders to implement new process/ process changes Work together with product team to develop product (website, Apps etc.) enhancement to meet business needs Track project progress; identify, report and resolve issues and risks in order to launch initiatives on-time and smoothly Prepare presentation materials which are pitched at the right level for its audience (e.g. operations staff vs. management) Job Requirements: Major in Business, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Supply Chain qualification preferred. Demonstrated ability of excelling in fast-paced, changing and ambiguous environments. Strong numeric and analytical ability. Skill in advanced Excel (data modelling, visualization) is a strong plus. Candidates who demonstrate strong performance during the internship may be considered for a permanent role.
