Position Summary The Production Manager is responsible for planning, directing, and controlling all manufacturing operations to ensure products are produced safely, efficiently, on time, and in compliance with quality standards, GMP requirements, and customer specifications. This role will lead production teams, optimize manufacturing processes, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to support business growth and operational excellence. Key Responsibilities Production Management Manage and oversee daily manufacturing operations for cosmetics, skincare, and household products. Develop production plans and schedules to meet customer demand and delivery timelines. Monitor production performance, capacity utilization, and resource allocation. Ensure production targets, productivity, and efficiency goals are achieved. Coordinate closely with Planning, Warehouse, Quality Assurance, R&D, Engineering, and Supply Chain teams. Quality & Compliance Ensure all production activities comply with GMP Cosmetics, GMP Household Products, FDA regulations, and company quality standards. Maintain strict adherence to safety, hygiene, and environmental requirements. Support internal and external audits and implement corrective actions when required. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce defects, waste, and production downtime. People Management Lead, coach, and develop production supervisors and operational teams. Establish performance objectives and conduct performance evaluations. Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, safety, and continuous improvement. Manage workforce planning, manpower utilization, and employee development programs. Process Improvement Analyze production data and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, yield, and cost performance. Implement Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S, and other operational excellence initiatives. Collaborate with Engineering and Maintenance teams to improve equipment reliability and manufacturing processes. Lead projects related to process optimization, automation, and productivity enhancement. Cost & Budget Control Manage production budgets and manufacturing costs. Monitor material consumption, labor efficiency, and operational expenses. Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives while maintaining product quality and compliance. Reporting Prepare and present production performance reports, KPIs, and improvement plans to senior management. Analyze operational trends and recommend strategic actions to improve manufacturing performance. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree or higher in Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Manufacturing Engineering, or related fields. Minimum 8-10 years of manufacturing experience, with at least 3-5 years in a Production Manager role. Experience in Cosmetics, Personal Care, Skincare, Household Products, FMCG, Pharmaceutical, or OEM manufacturing environments. Strong knowledge of GMP Cosmetics, GMP Household Products, ISO standards, and regulatory compliance. Proven leadership experience managing large-scale manufacturing teams. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Experience in Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, TPM, Six Sigma, or Continuous Improvement programs is highly preferred. Good command of English, both written and spoken. Proficient in ERP systems and Microsoft Office applications.
