About the role China Road and Bridge Corporation is seeking an experienced Project Quantity Surveyor to join our team. This is a full-time position that plays a critical role in our construction projects, ensuring precise cost management, contract administration, and financial control throughout the project lifecycle. As a Project Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for managing project costs, preparing valuations, and maintaining rigorous financial oversight to ensure projects are delivered within budget and in accordance with contractual obligations. This role is essential to our commitment to delivering high-quality infrastructure projects on time and within financial parameters. Key responsibilities Prepare and manage detailed cost estimates, budgets and financial forecasts for construction projects Conduct regular site inspections and measurements to verify work progress and quality compliance Prepare interim valuations and progress payment certificates for contractors and clients Manage variations, claims and change orders, ensuring all modifications are properly documented and authorised Maintain comprehensive records of contracts, specifications, drawings and all project documentation Prepare final accounts and settle contractual disputes in accordance with contract terms Liaise with contractors, clients, architects and engineers to ensure clarity on contract requirements and cost implications Monitor expenditure against budgets and provide regular financial reports and forecasts Identify and manage cost risks, providing recommendations to optimise project value Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and relevant construction industry standards What we're looking for Degree or Higher Diploma in Quantity Surveying or equivalent; Minimum 7 year's site experience in Quantity Surveying for civil engineering works; At least 2 years' experience in NEC contract with main contractor; Candidate with less experience will be considered as Quantity Surveyor.
