This role focuses on driving safety improvement across the construction industry through initiatives, stakeholder engagement, training, and promotion of best practices. You will play a key part in shaping industry-wide safety standards and supporting the adoption of new technologies and methods Responsibilities: Lead and execute safety promotion programmes and industry-wide campaigns in collaboration with contractors, industry bodies, and other stakeholders. Develop practical safety guidelines, tools, and reference materials (e.g., safety alerts, best-practice notes, publications, videos). Work closely with training institutions and stakeholders to identify safety training needs and ensure alignment with current site requirements and regulations. Research on innovative safety technologies, construction methods, and regulatory developments-both local and international-to support continuous improvement. Engage with government bodies, industry associations, and other partners to understand industry needs and support enhanced safety performance. Showcase and promote new technologies or innovations that can improve safety outcomes across the sector. Provide administrative and coordination support to safety-related committees and working groups. Requirements: Degree in construction, engineering, safety, or related disciplines; professional safety qualifications are an advantage. At least 12 years of relevant experience in construction or safety management, with experience in project or contract management preferred. Strong ability to plan, coordinate, and lead projects independently, delivering high-quality outcomes on time. Passion for improving construction safety and good understanding of evolving industry practices and standards. Strong stakeholder management and networking skills across industry bodies, government, and major players. Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills, with strong attention to details. Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese.
