Role Summary The Senior Business Analyst acts as a key partner to the Manufacturing business, driving process improvements and digital transformation initiatives. The role leads end-to-end system projects, from business analysis and solution design through implementation and post-go-live optimization. Working closely with business stakeholders, vendors, and internal IT teams, the role delivers scalable solutions that improve operational efficiency and business performance. Key Responsibilities Project Delivery and Governance • Lead manufacturing system and process improvement projects from planning to rollout. • Manage stakeholders, scope, dependencies, timelines, milestones, and project communications. • Provide regular updates on progress, risks, issues, decisions, and next steps to management. • Prepare project documents, meeting materials, and presentations for reviews and decision making. • Manage external vendors and implementation partners to ensure agreed quality, timeline, and delivery commitments are achieved. Business Analysis and Solution Design • Partner with production, operations, supply chain, and business stakeholders to understand current processes, pain points, root causes, and improvement opportunities. • Challenge requirements constructively by clarifying the business problem, expected benefits, process impact, and success criteria. • Document requirements clearly, including process flows, functional specifications, user stories, acceptance criteria, and business rules. • Translate business needs into practical and scalable solutions with internal IT teams and vendors. • Identify opportunities to streamline operations through automation, workflow optimization, integration, reporting, and data-driven process improvement. Build Support, Testing, and Release • Support system changes, basic configuration updates, data validation, and data maintenance when required. • Plan and run UAT, including test case preparation, execution coordination, defect tracking, retesting, and sign-off support. • Coordinate go-live activities, user communications, training readiness, cutover support, and hypercare arrangements. • Monitor applications after go-live and drive continuous improvements with users, internal teams, and vendors. • Support post-implementation reviews to confirm business adoption, benefits realization, and improvement opportunities. Key Interfaces • Work with manufacturing, production, operations, planning, procurement, inventory, warehouse, supply chain, finance, and other business teams. • Collaborate with internal IT teams, D365 administrators, Power Platform resources, data teams, external vendors, and implementation partners. • Engage management and business stakeholders for project reviews, decision making, risks, issues, and benefits tracking. Requirements • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, or related disciplines. • 5 or more years of experience in business analysis, ERP implementation, system implementation, or technology project delivery. • Strong functional knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations, with hands-on experience in requirement gathering, solution design, testing, deployment, and production support. Experience with SAP, Oracle Fusion, or similar ERP platforms will also be considered. • Good understanding of manufacturing, production, inventory management, warehouse operations, planning, procurement, or supply chain processes. • Basic understanding of system integration concepts, including APIs, interfaces, data flows, and master data dependencies. • Experience managing project timelines, milestones, risks, and dependencies using Waterfall, Agile, or hybrid approaches. • Strong communication, facilitation, documentation, and stakeholder management skills. • Self-motivated, structured, and able to drive tasks to completion with minimal supervision. • Good spoken and written English and Chinese. Cantonese and Mandarin capability is preferred. • Experience with Microsoft Power Apps or the Microsoft Power Platform is a plus. • PMP, PMI-ACP, CBAP, or similar professional certifications will be an advantage.. • Candidates with more experience may be considered for the position of Assistant IT Manager.
