About the role The Financial Planning & Analysis plays a key role in providing accurate financial insights and analysis to support strategic decision-making by top management and the Board of Directors. The role oversees management reporting, budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial modelling, while also supervising junior finance staff and contributing to continuous process improvement. Key responsibilities Prepare and consolidate monthly management reports, tracking financial performance against budget for top management and the Board of Directors. Analyze financial results and provide clear written commentary on management reports, highlighting key drivers, trends, and areas of concern. Prepare monthly forecasts and conduct variance analysis comparing actual results against budget and forecasts for specified business units or cost centers. Provide timely and actionable insights to management based on forecast and variance findings. Contribute to the annual budgeting and planning process, coordinating inputs from relevant business units and cost centers. Control expenditure for each cost center, ensuring spending remains in line with approved budget. Recommend strategies to support the profitability and growth of specified business units. Advise management on the financial implications of business decisions, providing scenario analysis and financial modelling as required. Take an active part in systems and process improvement initiatives within the finance function. Supervise and mentor junior finance staff, supporting their professional development and ensuring the quality of their work. About you Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance or other related fields. At least 5 years of accounting or finance-related work experience at a large, multinational company or a public accounting firm. Good knowledge of TFRS. Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to present complex financial information clearly. Good communication and presentation skills; ability to work effectively in a team environment. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple assignments to meet deadlines with accuracy. Good command of spoken and written English (e.g. minimum TOEIC score of 700). CPA, CMA, CFA or other relevant professional license/qualifications are an advantage. Experience in management accounting or FP&A role is an advantage.
