About the role China Road and Bridge Corporation is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our Head Office based on Hong Kong Island. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in overseeing construction projects from inception through completion. As Project Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role is integral to our operations, as you will bridge the gap between senior management, site teams, and stakeholders, ensuring seamless project execution and strategic alignment with corporate objectives. Key responsibilities Plan, schedule, and coordinate all aspects of construction projects, including resource allocation, timeline management, and budget control Develop comprehensive project plans and detailed schedules, ensuring all milestones are clearly defined and tracked Monitor project progress and performance against established key performance indicators and budgets Manage project budgets, including cost estimation, tracking expenditures, and controlling costs to ensure projects remain financially viable Lead and manage site teams, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure quality workmanship and compliance with safety standards Conduct regular site inspections and progress meetings to identify and address potential risks and issues Liaise with clients, consultants, and stakeholders to maintain clear communication and manage expectations Prepare and present progress reports, including financial statements, schedule updates, and risk assessments Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, safety standards, and quality specifications Manage variations and change orders, negotiating terms and documenting approvals appropriately What we're looking for Degree in civil, structural or geotechnical discipline Corporate member of HKIE/ICE/IStructE Minimum 10 years’ post-professional qualification experience in construction contracts including at least 4 years' experience as the main contractor's Site Agent Proven experience in NEC contract Strong leadership skills and good communication skills What we offer China Road and Bridge Corporation is committed to supporting the professional development and wellbeing of our employees.
