Established in 1912, d'Arenberg is one of the most significant wineries in McLaren Vale. Producing boutique style premium wines, d'Arenberg has been awarded numerous national and international awards, and has received critical acclaim all over the world. We are seeking motivated individuals to join our Vineyard team. This role provides the opportunity to work across multiple regional properties while developing practical skills in groundwork, vineyard operations and tractor use. The position would suit someone with a genuine desire for a career in viticulture, who is eager to learn and enjoys working outdoors. Whilst prior experience is desirable, it is not essential, as extensive as on-the-job training will be provided. Key responsibilities Operating tractors and vineyard machinery Completing seasonal activities, including pruning, spraying and harvesting Supporting vine training, maintenance and general vineyard upkeep Undertaking groundwork, trellis repairs and establishment activities Maintaining grounds through slashing, mulching and mowing Assisting with harvest operations Required Skills and Attributes Current C Class licence Forklift licence and MR License (or willingness to obtain) Ability to follow instructions and work effectively both independently and as part of a team Strong time management and communication skills A reliable, proactive and disciplined approach to work Commitment to ongoing skills and knowledge development Availability to work additional hours during vintage Applications are welcomed from individuals with a broad range of backgrounds, including: · Experienced vineyard operators · Enthusiastic and motivated school leavers · Individuals seeking a career change or new professional challenge We look forward to receiving your registration of interest in confidence.
