Financial Controller

We are seeking an experienced Financial Controller to lead our finance team and strengthen the financial governance of our architectural practice. This is a leadership role as we prepare to transition into AI-driven accounting systems. 📌 Key Responsibilities Leadership: Lead and mentor the finance team, instilling compliance, accountability, and readiness for AI adoption. Operations: Oversee accounting functions and guide the transition to AI-driven workflows. Compliance: Ensure statutory reporting accuracy and audit readiness; liaise with auditors and authorities. Cash Flow: Monitor liquidity, project funding, and client payment schedules. Strategic Support: Provide financial analysis, scenario planning, and insights for bids and feasibility studies. 📌 Requirements Education: Degree in Accounting/Finance; CPA/ACCA/CIMA preferred. Experience: 8–12+ years in finance/accounting with leadership experience, ideally in project-based industries (architecture, engineering, construction). Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of tax, e-Invoice, stamp duty, withholding tax, financial reporting, and compliance. Prepared to transition into AI-driven accounting systems (training provided). Soft Skills: Proven team leadership, analytical ability, clear communication, integrity, and confidentiality.
