About the role The Solution / Lead Architect is the single design authority for the Centre of Excellence as it moves from configuring existing TP tools to building custom software from scratch. The role exists to ensure that every solution is architected once, to TP's security and engineering standards, so it can be hosted in a TP environment and reach production without rework. The Architect designs solutions to pass TP's security compliance (TPSC), cloud governance (GCC) and application-scanning gates by design — not after the fact — and is the trusted technical interface to the wider engineering organisation. Key responsibilities Own reference architectures, design patterns and solution blueprints for RPA, AI, Power Platform and custom-built applications. Act as the design gate: chair design reviews and approve solution designs before any build begins — nothing goes to Build without an approved design. Embed security-by-design into every solution; ensure designs meet TP's security standard and clear TPSC, GCC and app scanning. Define data flows, integrations, APIs and hosting architecture, and secure the necessary database and network access approvals. Establish CI/CD and source-control standards (TP GitHub) jointly with the DevOps / CI-CD Engineer, so pods deploy the approved way. Mentor pod tech leads and engineers, raising the team's engineering maturity from configuration to production-grade development. Produce architecture documentation, decision records (ADRs) and standards so knowledge is retained and repeatable. What we're looking for Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field (or equivalent experience). 8+ years in software engineering, including 3+ years in a solution / technical architect role. Proven track record taking custom applications through enterprise security and compliance gates into production. Strong cloud architecture experience (Azure, AWS or GCP) and enterprise integration / API / data design. Deep understanding of secure SDLC and security-by-design practices. Working knowledge of CI/CD, containerisation and infrastructure-as-code. Key Skills Architecture & design leadership; ability to set standards and hold a design-review gate. Security and compliance fluency (secure coding, threat modelling, compliance gating). Excellent stakeholder management and technical communication across MY & TH teams. Mentoring and uplift — able to grow tech leads and engineers. What we offer At Teleperformance Malaysia Sdn Bhd, we are committed to supporting the professional and personal development of our employees. We provide competitive remuneration packages, comprehensive health and wellness benefits, and clear career progression pathways. Our organisation fosters a collaborative and inclusive work environment where innovation is encouraged and individual contributions are valued. We offer flexible working arrangements where applicable, professional development opportunities including training and certification support, and access to a range of employee assistance programmes. We believe in investing in our talent and creating an inspiring workplace culture that promotes both individual growth and organisational success.
