Responsibilities : Test Strategy and Planning Develop comprehensive test plans, strategies, and test cases based on product requirements and designs. Identify and implement testing tools, methodologies, and automation solutions. Collaborate with product managers and development teams to understand and clarify requirements. Execution Execute manual and automated tests, including regression, integration, system, and performance testing. Ensure that all testing activities comply with the defined processes and standards. Lead and manage the QA team in day-to-day operations. Team Leadership Mentor and guide junior QA testers in test case creation, execution, and reporting. Provide technical leadership and direction to QA team members. Coordinate and prioritize testing efforts across projects, ensuring alignment with release schedules. Collaboration Work closely with development, DevOps, and product teams to troubleshoot issues and ensure successful delivery of quality products. Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile environments to ensure test coverage and early defect identification. Defect Tracking and Reporting Track, report, and manage defects throughout the development lifecycle using tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar. Analyze test results and defects to identify root causes and recommend corrective actions. Automation Develop and maintain automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, or similar. Continuously improve the test automation framework and coverage. Qualifications : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Minimum 5-7 years of QA testing experience, with at least 2-3 years in a senior or lead role. Experience in Agile/Scrum development environments. Experienced in using automation tools Hands-on experience with various types of testing: functional, regression, integration, performance, and UAT. Proficiency in writing and executing detailed test cases, test scripts, and test plans. Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC).
