SEA HRIS Operation & Solutions Specialist Training Location : Delta Electronics Thailand (6 months+) Working Location : Malaysia (primary) — regional travel and HQ collaboration as required Team : SEA HRIS & Digital Transformation About the Role This is a regional systems authority role, not a support function. The SEA HRIS Operation & Solutions Specialist serves as the primary HRIS systems point of contact and solutions architect for Southeast Asia — understanding what every SEA country is running, diagnosing regional pain points, designing solutions, and coordinating resources between local teams, the Thailand home base, and Taiwan HQ. In parallel, this role carries full end-to-end HRIS ownership for the Malaysia factory — a dedicated scope per organizational direction — covering system build-out, UAT, operations, and ongoing management. This is a critical role for someone who wants regional visibility, technical HRIS depth, and a clear growth path: as Malaysia HRIS matures, the regional SEA scope separates into a standalone position, creating a natural evolution of the role. Key Responsibilities 1. SEA System Access & Authorization Management Own and maintain system access management across ALL SEA countries — provisioning, deprovisioning, role assignment, and authorization review Ensure compliance with access control standards and data governance requirements across the region Maintain up-to-date access records and escalate anomalies or risks to the HRIS Manager Serve as the point of authority for SEA-wide system authorization — all access decisions route through this role 2. SEA Regional HRIS Intelligence & Coverage Maintain real-time awareness of what each SEA country is running — HR modules in use, system versions, what is live, what is pending, and what is not yet adopted Proactively track each country's pain points, system resource gaps, and automation needs — not just when escalated but as an ongoing responsibility Build and maintain a SEA HRIS coverage map — updated regularly, shared with the HRIS Manager and relevant stakeholders Understand country-specific HR operational contexts well enough to translate business pain into system and process requirements 3. Solution Design & Regional Consolidation Consolidate pain points and needs across SEA countries into prioritized solution recommendations Design HRIS solutions or process improvements appropriate to each country's context and resource level Bring consolidated SEA needs back to the HRIS Manager and, where required, escalate to HQ for resource decisions or system roadmap input Coordinate with the Data Platform Owner and digital initiative leads when solutions require automation, system enhancement, or cross-functional involvement 4. Inbound Initiative Coordination Act as the SEA regional point of contact when HQ or home base pushes HRIS initiatives, system upgrades, or policy rollouts to the region Coordinate rollout planning across SEA countries — communicate timelines, collect readiness feedback, manage exceptions Ensure local teams understand what is coming and are prepared to adopt — follow up until adoption is confirmed 5. Malaysia Factory — Dedicated HRIS Ownership Serve as the end-to-end HRIS owner for Malaysia factory — from initial system build-out through ongoing operations Own UAT, module configuration, data management, and operational support for Malaysia factory HRIS Act as the primary HRIS contact for Malaysia HR team — understand their needs, resolve issues, and escalate where necessary Build the Malaysia HRIS foundation with the expectation that it becomes a standalone dedicated function as the factory grows Required Qualifications 5–8 years of HRIS experience with regional exposure — ideally covering multiple SEA countries Strong HRIS system knowledge — module configuration, access management, data governance, and system operations Experience working across countries or with regional HR teams — able to manage multiple stakeholders with different contexts simultaneously Strong analytical and solution design capability — able to translate business pain into structured system or process recommendations Excellent communication in English — able to write clear requirements, solution proposals, and regional updates Malaysian nationality required — Malaysia factory dedicated HRIS scope is a foundational expectation of this role Bachelor's degree in HR, IT, Business Administration, or related field Why Join Delta?
