The opportunity We are seeking an Excavator Operator to assist qualified tradespeople to construct, repair and maintain underground power supply equipment including road lighting and intelligent transport systems on Tier 1 and 2 projects. The position is responsible for civil works including but not limited to trenching, drilling, shoring, excavation of footings, conduit installation, manual labour and works coordination whilst assisting other members within a work group to achieve construction directives in line with established relevant OH & S and BCA codes.
