We are seeking an experienced and proactive Quantity Surveyor (or Senior Quantity Surveyor , depending on experience) to manage both pre- and post-contract commercial duties for our interior fit-out projects across office, retail, and F&B sectors. Working closely with our project delivery teams, you will take full commercial ownership—from initial cost estimation and tendering to procurement, contract administration, and final accounts. Key Responsibilities Tendering & Estimation: Conduct feasibility studies, perform quantity take-offs from CAD and traditional scaled drawings, and maintain an up-to-date database of market prices for materials and labor. Prepare, analyze, and negotiate competitive tender submissions and budget sheets for Senior Management. Procurement & Subcontractor Management: Formulate project procurement plans, negotiate subcontractor and supplier buy-outs, and issue change orders while securing optimal commercial terms. Commercial & Contract Administration: Manage the full cycle of pre- and post-contract QS duties. Advise on contractual and legal matters, perform value engineering, track variations, value completed works, and handle interim payment applications through to final account settlements. Cross-Team Collaboration: Coordinate closely with project management, delivery teams, and client QS representatives to ensure seamless site execution and strict cost control. Requirements Education: Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Building Studies, or a related discipline. Experience: Minimum 8 years of professional QS experience in interior fit-out (Main Contractor experience is strongly preferred). Experience handling office, retail, or F&B projects is an advantage. Technical & Commercial Skills: Strong command of market rates for fit-out trades; proficient in taking off quantities from both CAD files and scaled drawings. Languages: Excellent command of written and spoken English and Cantonese. Fluent Mandarin is required. Personal Attributes: Self-motivated, mature, responsible, and capable of working independently while maintaining strong teamwork and communication skills.
