About the role This role involves reviewing and verifying new car hire purchase loan applications, assessing customers' repayment ability and credit profiles, and providing recommendations. You will monitor loan portfolio performance, highlight early risks, and contribute to credit committee discussions. Key responsibilities Review and verify new car hire purchase loan applications to ensure accuracy and compliance with policies Assess customers' repayment ability and credit profile, and provide recommendations Request additional documentation where required and ensure proper checks are in place Monitor loan portfolio performance and highlight early risks Contribute to credit committee discussions and provide insights for decision-making Support internal audits and help improve credit processes Work closely with sales and collections teams on credit-related matters About you Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related field Proven experience as a credit analyst, credit officer, or related experience in new car auto finance, banking, or financial services Solid understanding of credit risk assessment, lending principles, and financial analysis Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail High integrity, professionalism, and ability to manage multiple cases in a fast-paced environment Proficiency in Microsoft Office and credit systems New car HP financing experience in commercial bank is an added advantage
