About the role B&P Carpentry, a distinguished residential carpentry & construction company, is looking for a Junior Estimator to assist our Senior Estimator with our growing workload. Our projects span across a wide range of residential & commercial construction solutions, ensuring a varied and exciting workload. As part of our team, you'll enjoy a professional, office-based role that plays a crucial part in the success of our projects, from tender to completion. Key responsibilities Reading and interpreting architectural and engineering plans, scopes and specifications Preparing material take-offs and quantity schedules Sourcing and obtaining subcontractor and supplier quotes Assisting with the preparation and submission of tender documents Maintaining estimating databases and cost records Providing precise and accurate project cost estimates Assisting with scheduling Utilising your computer skills effectively, with the ability to pass your knowledge onto others About you Experience using a JMS, preferably Simpro Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills A strong affinity for numbers and analytics Excellent communication skills A proactive attitude and willingness to go the extra mile Demonstrate a continuous thirst for knowledge and self-improvement Aligning with our company culture and values Full Australian working rights Benefits Attractive remuneration package: $65-95k base salary, based on experience Strong focus on personal and professional development Opportunity to grow and learn - working closely with senior estimator A vibrant, supportive team environment Top-notch work equipment including a new phone & laptop Regular social events and team activities About us B&P Carpentry is a growing Perth-based construction company with a strong reputation in the residential sector and an expanding presence in commercial projects.
