Audit & Account Assistant (Fresh Graduates welcome)

About the role At S M TUANG & CO PLT , we are looking for motivated individuals to join our Audit & Accounts Team in Kuala Lumpur. As part of our firm, you will be primarily involved in audit assignments, supporting statutory audits and handling smaller engagements under supervision. You will work closely with experienced seniors and partners, gaining practical exposure to audit and accounting work while contributing to the firm’s ongoing growth and client service excellence. What you'll be doing Assist in audit assignments for a portfolio of clients, including audit fieldwork, testing, vouching and documentation. Handle smaller audit assignments with guidance from Audit Seniors. Prepare audit working papers and financial statements in accordance with applicable auditing and accounting standards. Liaise with clients on queries, financial information and supporting documentation . Assist with related accounting work, including account reconciliations, preparation of schedules and other supporting accounting tasks as required. Perform other related duties and assignments as and when required. What we're looking for Candidates who have completed or are pursuing ACCA, Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Accountancy / Commerce are encouraged to apply Minimum qualification: LCCI / Diploma / STPM (Higher) or equivalent Fresh graduates are welcome to apply Experience is an advantage but not essential , as training will be provided Computer literate (Microsoft Excel, Word) Ability to work well independently and as part of a team Remuneration will be commensurate with the candidate’s qualifications and experience.
