Program Assistant - Youth in Development

About the role Peace Corps Thailand is offering an employment opportunity to support the Youth in Development (YinD) project, working with the Program Manager, Director of Programming & Training, and other team members in strengthening and sustaining the project to ensure it meets the needs and priorities of the Royal Thai Government and local communities. Compensation starting from THB551,039.00 per annum. Key responsibilities Support the Program Manager, Director of Programming & Training, and other team members in strengthening and sustaining the YinD project Work with the Program Manager to identify and develop potential Volunteer assignments through site visits and related outreach Represent Peace Corps in meetings and events with governmental agencies at all levels Define clear, integrated competencies for YinD Trainees that support effective service as Peace Corps Volunteers Facilitate technical sessions during Pre Service Training (PST), In Service Training (IST), and additional program events Work with the Admin Team to estimate and monitor training budgets and manage administrative documentation Travel throughout the country to build and maintain strong working relationships with partner organizations, host families, and community stakeholders Document all visits and outcomes in timely site visit reports Provide advice to senior staff regarding Volunteer needs and issues Support monitoring, reporting, and evaluation activities for Peace Corps Thailand's YinD project by training staff and Volunteers on monitoring and evaluation (M&E) systems About you Bachelor's degree in Political Science, Social Science, or other relevant degree At least 3 years of experience on project implementation in development field Excellent command of Thai and English, both spoken and written Proficient in Microsoft Office and spreadsheet programs Positive attitude towards leadership, collaboration, and public service Strong cross-cultural and interpersonal skills Ability to occasionally work on evening and weekend when necessary Willing to travel up to 40% of time and accept frequent travel assignment To apply: Submit both cover letter and resume
