Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, we are looking for an experienced permanent part-time Payroll Administrator with a keen eye for detail to manage our end-to-end payroll processes while ensuring all Asmuss employees are paid accurately, on time and in accordance with relevant legislation, employment agreements and Asmuss policies and procedures. This role is ideal for someone who is looking for a flexible part-time arrangement of 20 to 25 hours per week, with timings arranged to meet business needs. The role is based onsite at our Mt Wellington head office, 4 days per week (Monday to Thursday for example). You will be responsible for the following: Ensuring all payroll transactions are processed accurately and within the correct timelines – weekly and monthly and ad hoc Processing and data entry of all new starters, variations, deductions and terminations in Datacom and ensuring employee records are correctly maintained Processing of any other payments or benefits to employees as directed by the HR Team Ensuring timesheets for wage staff are up to date and approved in Biotime Ensuring deductions are correctly calculated, authorised and paid to the appropriate external agencies as required Managing queries related to payroll in a timely manner Compiling monthly payroll reporting and any ad hoc reporting as required Liaising with HR and H&S regarding ACC Facilitate training sessions on payroll systems as required Ensure compliance with regulations and legislation To be successful in this role you will need: Proven payroll experience end to end, preferably with Datapay or a similar payroll system Knowledge of NZ payroll legislation, including ACC, KiwiSaver, and PAYE taxation.
