Finance Manager

The Role The Finance Manager will report to the CFO with a dotted line to local senior leadership, taking ownership of the New Zealand finance function. This is a broad and commercially focused role, overseeing financial operations while partnering closely with key stakeholders across the business. Key responsibilities include: Own month-end, year-end and consolidated financial reporting, ensuring accurate and timely delivery Drive the annual budgeting, forecasting and financial planning process in partnership with operational leaders Lead the external audit process and manage relationships with auditors through to completion Partner with operations, supply chain and sales to provide financial insight and support better decision making Review and manage the accounts payable processes Deliver meaningful analysis on margins, costs, variances, KPIs and key business drivers Skills and experience required To be considered for this role, you will be a CA or CPA qualified Finance Manager or Senior Financial Accountant looking to take a step up. You will bring a blend of technical strength, commercial thinking and the ability to operate in an evolving business. Key attributes include: Exposure to complex, multi-entity or multinational business structures A strong commercial mindset, with the ability to translate financial data into actionable business insights Confidence partnering with senior leadership The ability to operate both autonomously and collaboratively Demonstrated leadership capability, with experience supporting or developing others This role will suit someone who enjoys being close to the business, influencing outcomes and driving performance in a hands-on environment.
