Logistics Assistant (Equipment Control)

Position Summary : The Logistics Assistant is responsible for the following functions: Empty container control Handle in On hire / Off hire units Co-ordinate with trucking company Co-ordinate with Depots Co-ordinate with terminals and ICD for smooth moving / loading export containers Key Responsibility : Monitor inventory on daily basis Monitor bookings on daily basis and match with stock Extra attention on special equipment’s to be given Ensure stock is within free pool at all locations Co-ordinate with the depot for smooth releasing of empty containers as per customer's standard and requirements Co-ordinate with Regional office to repositioning out special equipment if not required Co-ordinate with the leasing company in the matter of "On hire / Off hire" as advised by Regional office Monitor release on hire units Updating on hire / off hire report Co-ordinate with Vessel Ops/ trucking com to move empty container out from the terminal Release booking to trucking under MSC contract to move empties at designated locations Co-ordinate with ICD & terminal for "CFS" shipments To send the pre-advice booking list to be returned at ICD/Depot/Terminals Report any issues to Logistics manager regarding equipment or yard Key Experience & Qualifications & Skill : Min Bachelor Degree, ideally in the field of Maritime Minimum 3 years of experiences in Liner operations Employee Benefits Annual Leave 15 Days/Year Birthday Leave Fix Bonus + Variable Bonus Provident Fund Group Insurance (Life&Medical) Flexible Working Hour Meal Allowance Every Month Glasses Allowance Dental Allowance Flexi Pack Allowance Office Gym All application will be treated strictly confidential!
