As part of our ongoing data transformation journey, we are strengthening our data and analytics governance capability. We are seeking a Data & Analytics Governance (DAG) Manager/Senior Manager to lead a team of data governance specialists and establish clear, consistent, and scalable governance practices across regions and domains. This role is critical in ensuring trusted data, strong accountability, regulatory compliance, and measurable business value from our data and analytics initiatives. Job Description: Own the operational rollout and enforcement of established data governance frameworks, policies, and standards across domains and regions, ensuring governance moves from definition to consistent execution . Lead, coach, and supervise a team of data governance specialists, assigning clear responsibilities, setting priorities, and ensuring timely, high‑quality delivery of governance activities. Chair and operationalize governance forums , ensuring decisions are documented, translated into actions, tracked, enforced, and closed with clear accountability. Accountable for enterprise data quality for analytics and master data outcomes by directing the team to operate data quality monitoring, remediation processes, and MDM practices, ensuring improvements are measurable and business‑relevant. Ensure data and analytics controls are embedded into upstream processes to reduce rework, inconsistency, and waste, while improving transparency and ROI across data initiatives. Oversee the operational application of data security, privacy, and regulatory requirements by working with IT, Security, and Legal teams to enforce access controls, sensitive data handling, and cross‑border data transfer rules. Provide leadership oversight on analytics and data platform governance , including access models, usage monitoring, and cost transparency. Establish a strong operating rhythm for the DAG function, develop team capability, promote data literacy, and enable self‑service analytics through guardrails. Requirements: 15+ years of professional experience, with deep expertise (8+ years) in data management and data governance gained within multinational organizations. A recognized university degree. Extensive experience leading enterprise data & analytics governance in multinational organizations, with proven ability to operationalize established frameworks and standards. Strong expertise in data governance and data management disciplines, including ownership models, data quality, and master data, with accountability for outcomes. Solid understanding of data privacy, security, and regulatory requirements and how to enforce them through operational controls. Proven experience managing and leading governance specialist teams to execute data governance processes at scale. Strategic and execution‑oriented mindset, able to embed governance into day‑to‑day operations and drive business value. Strong English communication and stakeholder engagement skills in a cross‑functional, global environment. The requirements below are considered as advantages but not required. Professional certifications in data management or data governance (e.g., Certified Data Management Professional, DAMA Certified Data Governance Professional). Working experience in Databricks and Microsoft Azure data analytics solutions is an advantage. Working experience in the logistics industry is an advantage.
