About the role To provide support to the Management Accounting Manager to ensure the financial management and cost management of the Factory is in line with the country regulations, Factory and Apparel Division standards. Key responsibilities Assist the Management Accounting Manager in managing the process and formats for creating annual Factory and Departmental budgets and semi-annual updates Create monthly 3-month forward forecast of Profit & Loss, including operational data for each department, in support of the Management Accounting Manager's analysis Collect the required data and create monthly report for on performance and expenses against forecast Support the Management Accounting Manager in collecting and analyzing data for any ad-hoc financial and performance requests Assist the management team in cost analyses and cost reduction exercises as needed Provide cost analysis tools such as TAL Group Cost Model, variance analysis, etc. to relevant managers, and train them how to use the tools to identify cost drivers and identify cost reduction opportunities Identify the Factory's major controllable costs (e.g. excess cost, electricity, consumables). Collect the data required to create reports and track these costs on a regular basis Understand and personally commit to the Group's core values and culture Lead by example and behave consistently with the Group's core values and culture Communicate and visibly use the Group's core values as guidelines for daily decision making About you Take accountability for self-assessment of how to improve own personal effectiveness in the current role Ask for feedback regarding personal effectiveness from relevant parties Pro-actively discuss ways for improving personal effectiveness with own Immediate Manager Seek opportunities for learning and growth Participate fully in development opportunities provided by the Group and consciously apply the learning from the development programs
