About the role We are seeking a proactive and self-directed Scrum Master to enable Agile delivery within cross-functional product teams. As a servant leader and facilitator, you will help teams deliver high-quality outcomes by removing impediments, fostering collaboration, and creating an environment built on trust, psychological safety, and continuous improvement. Work you will do Agile Ceremony Facilitation: Facilitate core Agile ceremonies, including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, Sprint Retrospectives, and Backlog Refinement. Backlog Management Support: Partner with Product Owners to maintain a healthy, prioritized backlog that meets the Definition of Ready (DoR) and supports predictable delivery. Adaptive Agile Delivery: Facilitate Scrum for software development teams while adapting Agile practices through Kanban boards, WIP limits, and fit-for-purpose cadences for non-development or strategy-focused teams. Delivery Excellence & Metrics: Protect the squad from unnecessary disruptions and scope changes during sprints while monitoring delivery metrics such as Velocity, Burndown Charts, Cycle Time, Sprint Predictability, and team health to drive continuous improvement. Cross-Team Collaboration: Coordinate dependencies across product squads, platform engineering teams, and business stakeholders to ensure smooth end-to-end delivery, including cross-tribe initiatives where applicable. Impediment Resolution: Proactively identify and remove team-level impediments. Collaborate with relevant stakeholders and escalate complex issues to the Agile Coach or Domain Lead when necessary. Tribe Alignment: Actively participate in Scrum of Scrums and other tribe-level synchronization meetings, providing transparent delivery updates and supporting alignment across teams. Team Coaching: Foster a collaborative, psychologically safe, and high-performing team environment while encouraging continuous learning and Agile best practices. Let us Talk About You If you are someone with: Experience: 2–5 years of direct experience as a Scrum Master or Agile team facilitator working with cross-functional teams (Business, UX/UI, Engineering, QA). Frameworks & Tools: Strong understanding of Scrum and Kanban frameworks, with hands-on experience using Agile tools like Jira, Confluence, Miro, or Azure DevOps. Soft Skills: Excellent facilitation, communication, stakeholder management, conflict resolution, and problem-solving skills. Mindset: High ownership with the ability to pragmatically apply Agile principles based on the team's context rather than following frameworks rigidly. Preferred Qualifications Experience in Mobile Banking, Digital Banking, Wealth Management, Financial Services, FinTech, or digital product development. Working knowledge of APIs, core banking systems, or the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) to effectively manage technical dependencies.
