About the role The Presales Engineer is responsible for supporting the sales team by providing technical expertise and assistance throughout the sales process. This includes understanding customer requirements, designing solutions that meet those requirements, and effectively communicating the benefits of the proposed solutions. The Presales Engineer works closely with the sales team, customers, and the product development team to ensure that the solutions offered are technically sound and meet customer needs. Key responsibilities Pre-Sales support for products including design, technical advice, and point of contact. Deliver product presentations and demonstrations and provide support at external and internal customer-facing events. Build custom demonstrations and deliver Proof of Concepts (POC) to customers. Architect an appropriate technical solution to meet customers' requirements. Take a leading role in specifying technical solutions and writing proposals and tender responses. Support the sales cycle through answering RFI (Request for information), BOM (Bill of Material) and RFP (Request for proposal). Evaluate and prepare the scope of work for the project. Estimating the cost of installing a solution involves considering various factors, including equipment, installation, configuration and maintenance costs. Project transfer to Implement team. Keep up to date on technical knowledge and handle complicated technical issues for customers. About you Bachelor's degree in IT or related fields. 2-5 years of experience in pre-sales solution engineering, or IT consultant. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Able to communicate in Thai and English. Fast self-learning, Flexible and Good Teamwork. Able to learn new technology by self. Experience in Presales will be an advantage. Experience in Government Sector will be an advantage. Able to work under high pressure. Service-Oriented Mindset. If you just finished reading one job ad and felt paralyzed by choice, you're not alone—but this scale is actually an advantage. It means you can afford to be selective.
Start by geography and language. The majority of engineer ads—117,837 of them—have the job posting text written in English. Use that as one filter, but remember: the ad text language tells you nothing about whether the role actually requires you to speak English day-to-day. Read the job description carefully. Then check which countries have the volume you're targeting. Singapore, Poland, and Australia round out the top five after India and the US.
