Estates Management Office Works Supervisor I/II (Building Services – Electrical) (carrying the job title of ‘Maintenance Officer’) (Ref. 260001CK) (Closing date: August 25, 2026) The appointee will be responsible for (a) supervising internal staff and contractors to perform installation, repair, maintenance and testing of electrical installations; (b) preparing documents and drawings for tender of project/AA&I/repair and maintenance (R&M) works and subsequent supervision; (c) seeking improvements on system operation to achieve carbon reduction; and (d) performing other duties as assigned. Working overtime, on shifts, and on Saturdays/Sundays/public holidays may be required when necessary. Applicants should have (i) a Diploma or Higher Certificate in Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering from a recognised university or technical institute; (ii) at least 3 years’ post-qualification supervisory experience in electrical installation, operation and maintenance; (iii) a Grade A registered electrical worker (REW); (iv) the ability to prepare reports in English and Chinese; (v) good computer skills in AutoCAD and MS Office applications; and (vi) good interpersonal skills and the ability to work under tight schedules. Having experience in testing and commissioning (T&C) of emergency generator systems and performing PITC, and/or possession of a valid driving licence (Class 1 and 2) will be advantageous. Those with less but at least 1 year’s relevant post-qualification work experience may be considered for appointment as Works Supervisor II. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to sit for a written test. Appointment will initially be made on a 2-year contract with contract-end gratuity, renewable subject to good performance and mutual agreement.
