Estates Management Office Works Supervisor I/II(s) (Builder Works) (carrying the job title of ‘Maintenance Officer’) (Ref. 260001C9) (Closing date: August 25, 2026) The appointee(s) will be responsible for (a) managing and supervising project works; (b) leading and supervising internal staff in building maintenance/renovation works, and taking measurements at sites; and (c) performing regular building inspections and other technical duties as assigned. Working overtime, on shifts, and on Saturdays/Sundays/public holidays may be required when necessary. Applicants should have (i) a Diploma or Higher Certificate, preferably in Building Studies, from a recognised university or technical institute; OR at least 5 years’ relevant site supervising experience, with Grade C/Level 3 or above in at least 5 subjects in HKCEE/HKDSE (including English and Mathematics); (ii) at least 3 years’ supervisory experience in builder works and frontline staff management/inspection subsequent to fulfilling (i) above; and (iii) knowledge of facilities management software or similar applications. Possession of a valid driving licence (Class 1 and 2) will be advantageous. Those with less but at least 1 year’s relevant post-qualification work experience may be considered for appointment as Works Supervisor II. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to sit for a written test. Appointment will initially be made on contract basis for up to 2 years (with contract-end gratuity for a 2-year contract), renewable subject to good performance and mutual agreement.
