Accounting Manager (Costing & Manufacturing Finance)

About the Role Carabao group are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Accounting Manager to oversee cost accounting, inventory control, and financial reporting for our regional manufacturing operations. This role is ideal for finance professionals with strong manufacturing and costing backgrounds who are looking to expand their career in an international business environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving cost efficiency, improving financial controls, and supporting operational decision-making across manufacturing operations in Southeast Asia. Key Responsibilities: Cost Accounting & Manufacturing Finance Manage product costing, inventory valuation, and manufacturing cost reporting. Analyze material, labor, and overhead costs to ensure cost efficiency and profitability. Perform cost variance analysis and provide recommendations for operational improvements. Review BOM, standard costing, and actual costing to ensure accuracy and consistency. Monitor manufacturing KPIs and support cost reduction initiatives. Inventory Management & Internal Control Oversee inventory accounting and reconciliation processes. Ensure accurate inventory valuation and stock movement records. Support periodic stock counts and inventory audits. Strengthen internal controls related to inventory and manufacturing operations. Financial Reporting & Analysis Prepare monthly management reports and cost performance analysis. Support annual budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities. Conduct profitability analysis and provide insights to management. Assist management in evaluating business performance and investment opportunities. Accounting Operations Oversee month-end and year-end closing activities. Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and internal controls. Coordinate with external auditors and relevant stakeholders. Support ERP and finance process improvement initiatives. Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA qualification is an advantage. Minimum 7 years of accounting experience in manufacturing environments. At least 3 years of experience in a managerial or supervisory role. Strong knowledge of Cost Accounting, Inventory Management, Budgeting, and Financial Analysis. Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or equivalent. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills. Good command of English communication skills. Willingness to relocate and support Regional Manufacturing Operations (Southeast Asia).
