Data Scientist

About the role Data Scientist role focused on building predictive models and risk assessment for auto title loan operations. You will work with data from loan applications, credit bureau, vehicle information, and alternative data sources including mobile banking and location data. Key responsibilities Use SQL for data preparation and Python for predictive modeling and data exploration Train predictive models related to auto title loan approval, including car depreciation models and loan-to-car-value optimization based on risk assessment Build risk models to assess potential bad debt and future losses using data and behavioral patterns of current customers Develop collection models to guide debt collection strategies—determining how often and in what ways to follow up with customers in different segments Build propensity models to identify potential customers who are likely to need auto title loans, helping to optimize marketing budget allocation and targeting Apply Generative AI to automate and assist different business operations (Applications / Collections / Marketing) About you Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Information Technology, Statistics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related fields Proficiency in data science tools such as SQL and Python Strong communication skills and the ability to convey complex concepts clearly and effectively Solid understanding of the auto loan business process
