Environmental, Health and Safety Officer / EHS Officer (Heat pump factory)

Responsibilities: Serve as the Statutory Safety Officer (Professional Level) in compliance with Thai legal requirements, while leading the implementation and continuous improvement of EHS management systems for new factory setup, and expansion projects Manage workplace safety by conducting hazard identification, risk assessments, inspections, and audits, and ensuring effective control measures to prevent accidents and injuries Identify and control occupational health risks (chemical, physical, ergonomic), coordinate with HR and management on occupational health matters, and promote employee wellbeing to prevent work-related illnesses Oversee environmental aspects including waste management, air emissions, wastewater, and resource efficiency, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations while supporting sustainability initiatives Ensure full compliance with applicable EHS laws and regulations, and act as the primary liaison with government authorities and external stakeholders Skills and Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Industrial Hygiene and Safety, Environmental Health and Occupational Health and Safety, or a related field Certified Statutory Safety Officer (Professional Level – จป.วิชาชีพ) in accordance with Thai legal requirements 5 years experience in safety, occupational health and environmental functions, preferably in air conditioning, refrigerator, or electrical appliance manufacturing industry Proven track record in developing and implementing effective safety programs, including reducing incident rates, implementing preventive measures, and driving safety awareness Strong knowledge of Thailand EHS laws and regulations, including requirements from Department of Industrial Works (DIW), Industrial Estate Authority of Thailand (IEAT), and Department of Labour Protection and Welfare (DLPW) Good understanding of technical gases (LPG, O₂, N₂, Helium) and propane-based refrigerant (R290), including safe handling, storage, and risk control, as well as fire protection systems, including fire detection, extinguishers, fire pump systems, and emergency response procedures Familiar with integrated management system (IMS), including ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and ISO 50001 Flexibility to support urgent issues during normal production hours (7:30 – 16:30) and overtime hours (16:30 – 19:30) Excellent problem-solving, organizational, coordination, and leadership skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Microsoft Teams Valid driving license and ability to drive Good command of English (speaking, reading, and writing)
