About the Position and You: Reporting to the Finance Manager - Pharmacy, this role is responsible for providing quality financial and management accounting services across our pharmacy entities. You will partner closely with operational stakeholders to deliver accurate financial reporting, support compliance obligations, and provide insights that contribute to business performance and decision-making. Your primary responsibilities include: Prepare and analyse monthly management accounts for pharmacy entities Provide financial commentary, insights, and performance analysis to stakeholders Complete balance sheet reconciliations and ensure timely monthly reporting Support year-end financial reporting and external audit processes Assist with taxation compliance, including GST, FBT, RWT, and other statutory obligations Maintain and manage fixed asset registers Contribute to budgeting and forecasting activities Build effective relationships with pharmacy teams and business leaders, providing responsive financial support and advice Support insurance administration and other finance-related projects as required This is a Permanent Full Time Position working 40 hours per week across Monday to Friday in our Ellerslie based office. Do you have what we are looking for? Tertiary qualified and studying towards a professional qualification At least two years of accounting experience in a similar role Finance systems experience - Xero will be advantageous Strong communication skills - both written and verbal Advanced excel skills Detail oriented - ability to complete tasks with high accuracy levels Highly results-driven and performance orientated Demonstrated ability to work to deadlines, and flex when these move Flexibility and adaptability in order to work under pressure and meet short- and long-term deadlines.
