Drainage/Plumbing Labourer

Skilled Labourer We’re looking for experienced Skilled Labourers to join a hands-on drainage project in Waihi. If you have previous drainage or plumbing experience, enjoy working outdoors, and are confident working with pipework and around machinery, we want to hear from you. Location: Waihi, Hauraki District Start date: September Pay rate: $28–$30 per hour, with weekly pay What you’ll be doing: Digging trenches and preparing areas for pipe installation Installing PVC, FPC, PEX, and other pipework Reading plans, drawings, and specifications Measuring, cutting, joining, and fitting pipes Backfilling trenches and reinstating work areas Operating hand tools, power tools, and relevant plumbing/drainage equipment Working around excavators and other machinery during drainage works Following site health and safety procedures Maintaining a clean and safe work area What we’re looking for: Previous drainage and/or plumbing experience Confidence carrying out practical, hands-on labouring work Ability to work safely around machinery and drainage equipment Ability to follow plans, instructions, and site health and safety procedures A reliable and hardworking approach What’s in it for you: $28–$30 per hour Weekly pay Outdoor work Varied, hands-on drainage work 6–8 week assignment 40–50 hours per week About TradestaffTradestaff has been connecting skilled workers with great job opportunities across New Zealand for over 3 decades.
