As a centre of excellence, the team in Malaysia provides asset services, custody and payments for clients in Europe (Belgium, Ireland, Luxembourg, Switzerland and United Kingdom) with a global operating model that maximises efficiencies across time zones, supports 17/5 operational capability with follow the sun model, enhances scalability of our global operations and the implementation of standardized processes. Region: Lux Working hours: 10:00AM – 7:00PM Contract period: 12 months What will you do? Be a local lead responsible for monthly client KPI reporting cycle including data collection (structured and unstructured data), data validation, report production and review. Use of VBA macros, SQL, Microsoft Access database, KPI Datamart (Oracle) to generate monthly client KPI, MIS Client Reporting. Maintenance of EUC, Microsoft Access Database and SQL to update changes according to client request. Work closely with respective Global Client Operations business lines, ensure data and information received and obtained from business SME, business applications are complete, accurate and delivered on time. Meet with global client managers to discuss new client reporting requirements and change requirements Set up new Client KPI report in Olis Dish Dash. Gain a thorough understanding of metric production and ownership across all locations and work with stakeholders to centralize and standardize the reporting indicators to ensure global consistency and best practices. Work closely with other business teams on the data collection, analysis and preparation of various ad hoc requests for management insights. Actively collaborate with IT development teams and operational teams to automate data collection processes and management Develop and review End Users Systems (EUC) in collaboration with stakeholders Assist in formalizing operational procedures and documents tasks. What do you need to succeed? Must-have Undergraduate Business, Finance, or Statistics degree. 6-8 years of experience in financial services, with at least 3+ years ideally in Actuarial Science, Engineering, Business Analytics, Data Science, or Business Analysis. Analytical thinking, problem solving skills, curiosity and critical thinking when analysing big data Advanced MS Excel (comprehensive formulas, pivot table, VBA Macro) and PowerPoint presentation skills. Intermediate MS Access (create Forms, Update Queries, Tables) Nice-to-have SQL query command and understanding. Knowledge to navigate different software and online tools (eg. Olis, Camtasia, Power BI etc) Data mining and reporting skill, with ability to explore new technologies to enhance the delivery of operating.
