Senior/Accounts Executive

Responsibilities Handle day-to-day accounting and finance activities for the company and construction projects. Prepare and maintain accurate accounting records and financial documents. Coordinate with external auditors and accounting firms for annual audit and statutory reporting. Assist in the preparation of external accounts and financial statements. Review external accounts and supporting accounting documents. Liaise with tax agents on tax-related matters and ensure timely submission of tax documents. Review expense claims, invoices, payment vouchers and payment supporting documents. Verify payment documents before submitting for approval and payment processing. Monitor accounts payable, accounts receivable and other accounting transactions. Ensure accounting and payment documents comply with company policies and relevant Malaysian requirements. Assist auditors, tax agents and management in providing required financial information and supporting documents. Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field. Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience in accounting or finance. Experience in a construction company, engineering company or project-based company is preferred. Candidates with audit firm experience are highly encouraged to apply. ACCA / professional accounting qualification will be an added advantage. Familiar with Malaysian accounting practices and taxation requirements.
