About the Role We are looking for an HR Assistant Manager to lead talent management for Meraki Hospitality Group. This role owns the full talent lifecycle for our Operations (FOH/BOH) and General Administration teams - from hiring the right people, to building their skills, to helping them perform at their best. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys building programs and working closely with restaurant and office teams alike. You will partner with department heads, the HR Manager, and senior leadership to make sure Meraki attracts, develops, and keeps great talent. Key Result Areas 1. Talent Acquisition (Operations and General Administration Roles) • Manage end-to-end recruitment for Operations (FOH/BOH) and GA roles, from Personnel Requisition Form (PRF) approval to onboarding • Source, screen, and interview candidates, and coordinate with department heads on final hiring decisions • Build and maintain a healthy applicant pipeline to support store openings and ongoing staffing needs • Track recruitment metrics such as time-to-fill, applicant volume, and offer acceptance rate • Support employer branding initiatives, including job postings, referral programs, and campus or industry partnerships • Ensure a smooth and professional candidate experience from application through Day 1 2. Performance Management and Organizational Capability • Administer the performance review cycle across all business units, ensuring timely completion and quality feedback • Support the development and upkeep of job descriptions and KPIs across roles • Guide managers on performance coaching, regularization assessments, and corrective action processes (NTE/NOD/RFR) • Maintain accurate and complete 201 files and performance documentation • Identify capability gaps across teams and recommend structural or process improvements • Partner with the department heads to align talent practices with business goals 3. Learning & Development • Design and roll out training programs for new hires, current employees, and leaders • Coordinate onboarding and orientation programs, including Meraki Foundations / VMV sessions • Track training completion, attendance, and effectiveness across teams • Identify learning needs through performance data and manager input, and build programs to address them • Support career development and succession planning for key roles • Maintain training materials and ensure content stays current with company policy and industry standards Supporting the HR Manager Beyond the KRAs above, this role also assists the HR Manager in the following areas: DOLE Compliance • Help monitor compliance with DOLE regulations, wage orders, and labor standards across the business • Assist in preparing documentation for labor inspections, audits, and government reporting Policy Governance • Support the review, updating, and rollout of HR policies, including the Code of Conduct and related guidelines • Help ensure policies are properly communicated and consistently applied across teams Workforce Planning • Assist in headcount planning and manpower requirements for existing stores and new openings • Support the HR Manager in forecasting staffing needs against business growth Succession Planning • Help identify high-potential employees and support development plans for key roles • Assist in maintaining succession plans for critical positions across Operations and GA Culture Reinforcement • Support the rollout and continued reinforcement of Meraki Foundations / VMV programs • Help plan and execute culture-building initiatives and employee engagement activities What We're Looking For • At least 3–5 years of HR experience, with a strong focus on talent acquisition, performance management, and learning and development • Prior experience in hospitality, F&B, or a fast-paced, multi-site environment is a strong advantage • Working knowledge of Philippine labor law and standard HR practices • Experience using an HRIS platform • Strong communication skills, with the ability to work confidently with both restaurant teams and senior leadership • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities at once • A genuine interest in people development and building a positive workplace culture
