We are looking for an Assistant Accountant to join our Finance Team on a 6-month fixed-term contract, with the position expected to commence from November 2026. Responsibilities: Assist with day-to-day accounting operations. Process invoices, payments, receipts, and other accounting transactions accurately and in a timely manner. Perform bank, general ledger, and other account reconciliations. Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports and management accounts. Support month-end and year-end closing activities. Assist with tax-related matters and ensure timely compliance with applicable statutory requirements. Assist in the preparation and submission of e-Invoices and ensure compliance with relevant tax authority requirements. Support internal and external audit activities, including preparation of supporting documents and responding to audit queries. Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and other financial analysis when required. Maintain proper and accurate accounting records and documentation. Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting procedures, and applicable accounting standards. Perform other accounting and finance-related duties as assigned. Qualifications and Requirements: Diploma/Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or equivalent professional qualification such as ACCA. 1–2 years of relevant accounting experience ; experience in a manufacturing environment will be an advantage. Proficient in Microsoft Excel ; experience with SAP or other ERP systems will be an advantage. Able to adapt quickly and provide reliable support during the maternity cover period. Contract Details: Contract Type: 6-month fixed-term contract (For maternity cover). Contract Period: Starting in Oct/Nov 2026, and wrapping up in Apr 2027. Availability: Able to commence between October and November 2026 and commit to the full maternity cover period. Extension: Any extension beyond the initial contract period will be subject to business requirements and mutual agreement.
