Engine Overhaul Technician

The Vintage Aviator Limited is seeking an Engine Overhaul Technician to join our workshop team restoring and preserving historic WWI aircraft engines to exceptional standards of craftsmanship and precision. This role is ideally suited to someone with a background in fitting and turning, precision machining, engine reconditioning or similar who is interested in developing specialist skills in vintage engine restoration and remanufacture. About the Role Working closely with the Engine Shop Manager, you will assist with the restoration, overhaul, remanufacture and assembly of historic aircraft engines and associated components. This is a hands-on workshop role requiring: strong mechanical aptitude attention to detail and pride in workmanship the ability to follow procedures and fill out paperwork correctly good problem-solving skills precision workmanship the ability to work to tight tolerances and engineering drawings The work is varied, technically challenging, and highly rewarding. Important This is not an entry-level position. We are specifically seeking applicants with an existing mechanical trade background or equivalent industry experience.
