Inventory Controller

As the Inventory Controller, you will be responsible for overseeing all inventory operations across all branches. This role ensures effective inventory management, minimizes loss, closes process loopholes, and leads the inventory control team. You will manage stock movement, purchasing oversight, and RMA processes, while coordinating with retail branches, suppliers, and internal departments to ensure accurate inventory reporting and control. Your daily activities include: Lead and manage the inventory control team, including officers responsible for stock control, purchasing, and RMA management. Monitor and control inventory across all retail branches to ensure stock accuracy, process compliance, and deadstock minimization. Track and monitor Credit Note (CN) claims with vendors and accounting to ensure full financial recovery and balance adjustments. Design, implement, and improve inventory control processes to prevent losses, shrinkage, and operational loopholes. Oversee the monthly stock count plans, reconciliation activities, and discrepancy investigations. Ensure purchasing activities align with inventory needs and that stock levels are optimized. Supervise the RMA and warranty parts handling process to ensure timely resolution with vendors. Analyze inventory performance reports and provide insights for stock optimization and process improvement. Coordinate with branch management, operations, purchasing, accounting, and external partners to align inventory operations. Train and develop the inventory team, ensuring clear understanding of processes and controls. Report regularly to management on inventory status, risks, and improvement plans. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. Solid understanding of inventory systems, stock movement controls, and loss prevention strategies. Proficiency in spreadsheet applications (e.g. GoogleSheets). High sense of ownership, accountability, and process discipline. Effective communication and cross-functional coordination skills.
