Product Design Specialist (CATIA)

Responsibilities Expertly design and develop automotive parts (3D Models and 2D Drawings) using CATIA. Manage and control CAD data, making quick and accurate design updates based on client needs and project requirements. Participate in Design Reviews with leading OEM clients to ensure parts are practical for production, structurally sound, and functional. Coordinate closely with Production Engineering and QA/QC teams to ensure designs meet global automotive quality standards (such as IATF 16949:2016 and ISO 9001:2015). Prepare engineering documents and design support data, such as GD&T, APQP, and PPAP for New Model development projects. Strictly maintain the confidentiality of client design data, in compliance with international information security standards (such as ISO 27001 or TISAX). Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Industrial Product Design, or a related field. 3 - 5 years of experience in automotive product design. Advanced skills and expertise in using CATIA. Experience working with leading OEM clients, with a strong understanding of automotive product development cycles and requirements. Solid understanding of engineering drawings, GD&T, and automotive parts manufacturing processes. Excellent coordination and technical negotiation skills. Able to solve problems and work well under tight deadlines. Good English communication skills (reading engineering documents, writing emails, and presenting work).
