About the role The IT Systems Administrator is responsible for managing and maintaining the organization's IT infrastructure, systems, hardware, software, IT budget management, IT contract management, IT procurement, ID management and user support. This role ensures the availability, security, and efficiency of IT services while coordinating with internal stakeholders and external vendors to support business operations. Key responsibilities 1. IT Infrastructure & System Administration Manage and maintain IT infrastructure, including servers, network devices, Wi-Fi, printers, scanners, and endpoint devices. Install and configure computer hardware, software, and systems. Monitor system performance and ensure high availability of IT services. Test new technologies before deployment. Perform routine system health checks and preventive maintenance. Coordinate with external vendors for infrastructure maintenance and issue resolution. 2. User Support Provide Level 1 and Level 2 technical support to employees (in person or over the phone). Install, configure, and troubleshoot hardware and software. Support Microsoft 365, email, VPN, and collaboration tools. Manage IT service requests and incidents in accordance with SLA. Respond to issues and requests in a timely manner. Repair and replace equipment as necessary. 3. User & Access Management Create, modify, and deactivate user accounts (including setup for new users). Manage access rights across business applications. Maintain role-based access control (RBAC). Ensure compliance with company security policies. 4. IT Asset Management Maintain an accurate inventory of all IT assets, including hardware (computers, servers, printers, laptops, mobile devices, accessories) and software licenses. Track the location, status, and condition of IT assets throughout their lifecycle, including software licenses and hardware lifecycle. Maintain accurate, up-to-date documentation of IT assets, including asset details and configurations. Coordinate procurement and replacement of IT assets/equipment. 5. Information Security Implement and monitor compliance with information security policies. Ensure endpoint protection, antivirus, and patch management are kept up to date. Support security awareness initiatives. Assist with security incident investigations. 6. Backup & Disaster Recovery Monitor backup jobs and verify successful recovery procedures. Support disaster recovery planning and testing. 7. Vendor & Contract Management Coordinate with IT vendors and service providers. Monitor vendor performance and SLA compliance. Manage warranty and maintenance contracts. Manage IT budget, IT contracts, and IT procurement. 8. Documentation & Process Maintain IT documentation, including SOPs, network diagrams, and knowledge base. Document system configurations and operational procedures. Participate in developing and producing processes and SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures). 9. Continuous Improvement & Project Support Identify opportunities to improve IT processes and operational efficiency. Recommend new technologies to support business needs. Participate in IT projects and system implementations. 10. Cross-functional Collaboration & Others Collaborate with cross-functional team members to resolve IT admin issues. Follow up with related stakeholders until issues are resolved. Perform other duties as assigned. Other as assigned Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. At least 2-3 years of experience in an IT Support / IT Administration role. Experienced in IT support for macOS and Microsoft 365 (Office, Teams, Outlook/Email). At least 2 years of experience in IT asset management (inventory tracking, lifecycle management, procurement coordination). Basic understanding of networking concepts (LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, printers, and endpoint devices) and ability to troubleshoot common network issues. Experience with user and access management (account provisioning/deprovisioning, access rights, role-based access control) is a plus. Experience with CAR PRO software is a plus. Basic knowledge of information security practices (endpoint protection, antivirus, patch management) is a plus. Familiarity with backup and disaster recovery processes is a plus. Experience coordinating with external IT vendors or service providers (SLA monitoring, contract/warranty management) is a plus. Strong communication skills in English. Ability to create and maintain clear technical documentation (SOPs, asset records, configurations). Strong sense of urgency, ownership, and accountability. Good problem-solving skills and ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
