Job Responsibility IT Infrastructure Leadership: Lead and manage the IT infrastructure team, including system, network, DevOps, database, and cloud services. Provide strategic direction and oversight to ensure the availability, performance, and security of all IT infrastructure components, including cloud and on-premise environments. Cloud Services Management: Oversee the design, implementation, and management of cloud infrastructure and services (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud). Ensure the efficient operation of cloud resources, ensuring scalability, cost management, and alignment with business needs. Proactive Monitoring & Incident Management: Establish and manage proactive monitoring systems for all IT infrastructure components (cloud, system, network, databases, applications). Ensure rapid identification and resolution of potential issues before they impact operations. Network, System & Database Management: Oversee the management and optimization of network infrastructure, systems, databases, and cloud environments. Ensure high availability, scalability, and security across all environments. DevOps Integration: Drive the adoption and integration of DevOps practices within the organization, working closely with the development teams to streamline operations, automate workflows, and ensure continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) processes. Cloud Security & Governance: Implement and manage cloud security strategies, ensuring that the cloud infrastructure meets organizational security standards and complies with relevant regulations. Oversee security audits, vulnerability management, and compliance with cloud-specific standards. Infrastructure Performance & Capacity Planning: Lead capacity planning efforts to ensure that cloud and on-premise infrastructure resources can support business growth. Monitor and optimize infrastructure performance to maintain efficiency and prevent bottlenecks. Business Continuity & Disaster Recovery: Oversee the development and management of business continuity and disaster recovery plans for both cloud and on-premise environments. Ensure that critical services can be quickly restored in case of failure or disaster. Team Development & Mentorship: Provide leadership, mentorship, and career development opportunities for the infrastructure team. Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the team. Vendor & Outsource Management: Manage relationships with third-party vendors and cloud service providers, ensuring adherence to SLAs and performance expectations. Negotiate contracts and oversee vendor management processes. Technology Research & Implementation: Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends. Research and implement innovative solutions for improving cloud infrastructure performance, security, and cost-efficiency. Budget Management: Develop and manage the budget for the IT infrastructure team, ensuring that resources are allocated efficiently, and that financial targets are met, with an emphasis on cloud cost optimization. Stakeholder Communication: Communicate effectively with senior management and other stakeholders about the performance of the IT infrastructure, including cloud services. Provide regular reports on infrastructure health, performance, and security. Compliance & Regulatory Management: Ensure that cloud and on-premise infrastructures adhere to relevant industry regulations, internal policies, and security standards. Lead the effort in obtaining necessary certifications and audits for cloud platforms and on-premise infrastructure. IT Infrastructure Strategy: Develop and execute long-term infrastructure strategies that align with the company's business goals, ensuring cloud and on-premise infrastructure growth supports business demands and technological advancements. Job Qualification Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications in IT management or cloud technologies are a plus. Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT infrastructure management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role overseeing system, network, database, DevOps, and cloud teams. In-depth knowledge of cloud infrastructure and services (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), including cloud-native applications, automation, and management tools Expertise in managing and optimizing cloud resources for cost-efficiency and scalability. Strong understanding of IT infrastructure components, including systems, networks, databases, and cloud technologies. Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) and their integration within cloud environments. Cloud Security & Compliance: Strong background in cloud security, governance, and compliance (e.g., AWS Well-Architected Framework, GDPR, HIPAA, SOC2). Proactive Monitoring: Demonstrated ability to implement proactive monitoring strategies across both cloud and on-premise environments. Experience with tools like Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, and other monitoring platforms to ensure system health. DevOps & Automation: Proven experience in driving DevOps initiatives, including CI/CD pipeline implementation, infrastructure automation, and integrating development and operations teams in a cloud environment. Leadership & Team Management: Strong leadership skills, with experience in managing cross-functional teams and fostering a collaborative culture. Ability to mentor and develop talent, and manage team performance. Budget & Cost Management: Experience managing budgets for large IT teams and infrastructure projects, including cloud cost optimization strategies to ensure efficient use of cloud resources. Project Management: Solid experience in managing large-scale IT infrastructure projects, including cloud migrations, infrastructure upgrades, and system integrations. Vendor Management: Strong vendor management skills, with experience negotiating contracts and managing external cloud providers and service agreements. Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work closely with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, providing clear and actionable reports and recommendations. Certifications: Industry certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect, ITIL, PMP, and cloud security certifications are highly desirable.
